We liked everything, especially the kindness of al the people working at the hotel. Great location, beautiful HOTEL..We felt like home. Thanks to Francesca for her help every day and to all personal of the concierge. We are definitely going back. Excellent experience and best coffee in town!!!!!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Dei Macchiaioli in July 2011. This intimate first floor hotel provided the ideal base for visiting all of Florence's sites, being situated 2 mins from Galleria Accademia, 5 mins from the Duomo and 10 mins from the Ponte Vecchio. The bedroom being situated away from surrounding main roads provided a quiet and relaxing stay, whilst the ornate breakfast room and extensive buffet ensured a great start to two busy days. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay at the Hotel Dei Macchiaioli next time we visit Florence.

The staffs were very friendly and kind, and the location was perfect, 2~3 minute walk from the Duomo and ~10 minutes from the train station. The room was clean and lovely. I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely go back there!!

Hotel room was attractive and modern, bed was great and staff very service oriented and helpful.

We were there in the heat of July and the a/c could have been a little stronger. Suggest in hot times that the hotel close the curtains for arriving guests to block the heat of the sun and keep the room cooler (room 107).
